ABOUT DIANE DULTMEIER

For more than 20 years I’ve been helping people remember the moments and the love by creating beautiful photography artwork for their homes in and around Stuart, Florida.

My favorite and best work has always been photographing real people in a natural, authentic and relaxed way, creating family photos for their homes. In fact, I became the original “natural light” photographer on the Treasure Coast when I moved here in 1991. I came armed with my Bachelor’s Degree in Photojournalism from the University of Kansas, and several years of experience on staff at newspapers in Kansas, South Dakota and Hawaii, plus quite a few awards for my work. I jumped in during a recession and started a business!

For me, the best reward is the look on my clients' faces when they see their own finished portraits for the first time and they tell me how glad they are to have made the time for professional photography. Clients tell me they enjoy looking at them on their walls, every day. And how those are their favorite images ever. That makes me feel so happy!

Experience in all sorts of photography genres gives me the ability to create images with great composition and attention to detail while also working with my clients to draw out their personalities, giving them guidance and encouragement so it all feels natural and even turns out to be fun. 

Afterwards we work together to decide how best to display the favorite images. The artwork will be printed on the highest-quality products, turning into showstopper pieces in your home. I am a print-based photographer and everything is custom, which makes me different from many other photographers. I care about every detail of your experience, from the time we first talk, the planning meeting, the photography session, choosing your images together, all the way to delivery of your custom artwork, ready to display in your home.

I know how to relate to kids, to parents and grandparents and to surly teens. (I even have my own surly teens right now!) My clients continually tell me that everyone felt comfortable and had fun during their portrait session, much to their surprise. The images reflect that and make your home more cozy and personal, with your portrait artwork giving you a hug as you go about your life.
