Diane Dultmeier will work with you to see the project through from the initial consultation to wall design, to the portrait session, to overseeing every detail of large format printing, framing, and installation of your artwork. It’s truly a turnkey experience where someone else takes the reins and brings the vision to reality.

The first step is an easy phone call with Diane! This is a chance to have your questions answered and to get to know each other a bit. Family photography is very personal—you want to make sure your photographer feels like a good fit to you.

Creative Consultation

At Dultmeier Photography we begin with the end in mind, thinking about where your portraits will live. It’s an easy and enjoyable experience—you will meet Diane at her gallery (near downtown Stuart) for a close look at the beautiful fine art options available. Together you will talk about ideas for displaying your portraits in your home. Don’t worry if you don’t know yet! Discovering how your artwork will fit in your home spaces is part of the process and Diane is an expert at helping you with this. Additionally, if you work with an interior designer, Diane is happy to connect with them to ensure that the art she is creating for you is in line with the decor of your home.

To make visualization easier, we use specialized software to create mock ups that show you exactly how the finished art will look in your home, simply by using quick photos of your actual wall spaces. We will factor in your decor and your artistic taste to create the perfect collection of portraits for your family. You will know the investment options ahead of time, so you can make decisions based on what works for your family.

The Portrait Session

Clients often tell us the session was a great experience. We often hear “It was magical,” and “Everyone had so much fun!” You will relax and enjoy while Diane creates beautiful images that truly capture the relationships and personalities of your family. You and your family will be fully guided during the session, with comfortable posing at a relaxed pace. We are never in a hurry, unless it’s to beat the sun as the light wanes at the end of the day.

Diane has been photographing families professionally since 1998. She is also a mom of two, and knows first hand how stressful it can be to have everyone well-rested, in the right mood and having a good hair day on the day of your family portrait session! Rest assured that in her calm, unhurried, professional way, Diane will bring out the best in all of you. As you drive home, it is very likely your husband and kids will tell you they had a great time!

View & Order Appointment

Now is the time to sit back and enjoy how these portraits truly capture each family member and your relationships! During your private viewing, you will also see our design plans come to life, virtually, on the walls of your home, adorning your spaces as we envisioned. Diane will have wall and album designs ready for you based on what we discussed at the Creative Consultation. You will not be left to figure this out alone; Diane will make suggestions and give advice specifically for your family and your decor. We will tweak our plans until you are thrilled with the final result.

Production of your artwork

As you go on living your life and taking care of all your priorities, Diane will oversee every step of the production process, ensuring that the project is perfect in every way. All design, editing and retouching, printing and framing will be done to perfection, using archival materials and processes. Our family portraits are printed by the finest professional labs and framed to museum specifications. Our mat boxes and coffee table books are custom-designed and printed with archival inks. All artwork is meant to last for generations.

Delivery & Installation

You will not be left with artwork leaning against a wall, waiting to be installed. Instead, our meticulous professional artwork installer will carefully install your portraits on your walls. Diane will also be on hand to oversee the project and enjoy the first look with you—seeing our plan come to life is such a fulfilling moment!
