Let's avoid regret TOGETHER

We’ve all felt it—that sense of regret when you wish you had captured more meaningful moments. At Dultmeier Photography, we’ve seen this time and time again: families who wish they had taken the time to invest in real, timeless portraits.

It’s a common theme, especially when life gets busy. Whether you have young kids or they’re heading off to college, there’s always a reason to put off taking those photos. Portraits can feel like just another item on the never-ending To-Do list. But we’re here to tell you that creating those lasting memories is always worth it.

Why Portraits Matter

Parents know they “should” have portraits made, but investing the time and money seems too hard sometimes. I get it. I’ve been in the trenches and now I’m nearing the empty nest years.

The beauty of professional portraits isn’t just about the present moment—it’s about preserving relationships and personalities over time. Whether it’s a family portrait hanging on your wall or a carefully curated album, these images serve as daily reminders of the people who matter most.

As a mom myself, I’ve been through those chaotic years of raising kids, and now, with my own children at ages 21 and 23, I’m approaching the empty nest stage. Looking back at the portraits we took throughout the years, I realize how invaluable they are. From our changing hairstyles and clothing choices to the growing confidence in my children’s eyes, these photos have become some of my most cherished treasures.

I often catch my husband standing and admiring the portraits from when our kids were younger. It’s hard to believe how much they’ve grown, and every time we see those photos, we’re transported back to those precious moments that almost seem like a dream now.

Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late

Life is constantly changing, and so are the people we love. That’s why it’s important to capture who they are right now. Your kids, whether they’re toddlers or teenagers or adults, will continue to evolve in ways you won’t want to forget.

I’ve seen the longing in people who wish they had more portraits to look back on. Trust me—no one regrets investing in portraits that truly capture the essence of their family. But I’ve heard countless stories of people wishing they had done more.

Ready to Capture Your Family’s Journey?

Are you waiting for the right time to do portraits, thinking your Future Self will have more energy and be more organized? Sadly, that likely won't happen; it's just a fact for most of us. The good thing is, when you work with me, I hold your hand through the process and even do most of the work, all the way down to installing them in your home. It CAN be easy. (And ENJOYABLE!)

Whether you’re looking to document a milestone or simply capture the everyday moments, I am here to help. All you have to do is fill in the form below, and we can start a conversation.
